Hi, I’m Kayla Hightower, your registered nurse and functional medicine health coach.

Upon discovering functional medicine, my passion and purpose blossomed into a lifelong ambition—to empower you to maintain your vitality by helping you discover what’s within, so that you may not only lead a healthy lifestyle but also decrease your risk of illness.

 

Having practiced functional medicine for many years, I am able to help you heal the hormonal balance and maintain optimal health on the inside while feeling confident on the outside.

How can I help you maintain a healthy lifestyle?

 

 

I help people heal from the inside out. My area of focus is hormonal imbalance, but there are many facets to well-being, including gut health and antioxidant intake, to name a few. I’m here to advise you on your overall well-being, so feel free to ask me any questions you may have about improving your digestion or whatever else pops into your mind. I’ll help empower you when it comes to understanding and implementing rituals that will ultimately lead you on a path towards rejuvenation and balanced health!

 

Why do I believe in functional medicine?

 

Functional medicine is an all-encompassing term that addresses the root cause of chronic health conditions (and it’s close to my heart!). The field requires a holistic approach to helping patients who are struggling with everything from chronic pain to depression. I am living proof that functional medicine works! I have been able to lose 70lbs and have not needed medication for either asthma, acid reflux, or allergies since receiving assistance from my functional medicine practitioner.

 

 

As a Functional Medicine Health Coach, I work with you to manage your health and guide you specifically when it comes to making decisions that are in line with your health needs and goals.

 

I specialize in working with clients who have either the desire or feel as if their lives aren’t exactly where they want it to be when it comes to getting healthier and keeping themselves on track for the long haul.

 

I understand how busy life can get at times, and that’s precisely why our partnership is so important to provide accountability to help facilitate the necessary lifestyle changes need to restore balance, achieve optimal health, and boost energy levels every day.

 

We communicate via phone or video chat. The convenience of this method allows me to work with clients across the country.
